Avrum R. Goldstein, D.M.D. FRCD(C) – Expert Witness: Dentistry, Periodontics, Dental Implants
First and foremost, Dr. Goldstein has served as a clinical periodontist and implant surgeon for more than 42 years. His clinical training and years of patient care provide credibility to his work as an expert witness in all areas of dentistry. As a periodontist with extensive experience in implant dentistry, he is qualified to consult on cases involving all phases of dentistry and periodontics, dental implants, bone grafting, regenerative therapy, soft tissue grafting, and dental esthetics.
Dr. Goldstein graduated with honors from the University of Manitoba, Faculty of Dentistry and was trained as a periodontist at the University of Pennsylvania. He has held teaching positions at the University of Manitoba, the State University of New York (Buffalo), the University Of Connecticut School Of Dental Medicine, and at Yale University, where he served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Goldstein an Adjunct Faculty member in the Department of Periodontics at the College of Dental Medicine at Nova Southeastern University. In addition, he recently joined the faculty at Touro College of Dental Medicine where he is an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor.
Dr. Goldstein is Board Certified in the United States as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, and in Canada, as a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists. He is currently licensed in the State of New York.
Dr. Goldstein is an articulate and knowledgeable clinician who has the ability to take complex clinical conditions and techniques and explain them in a manner people can easily understand. He has had forensic experience in a variety of cases involving dental malpractice and physical injury.
